LEADMAN/ RIGHTHAND MAN TO FOREMAN

Duties include: some degree of being able to read blueprints (civils, architecturals and structurals); experience in ordering concrete and other materials; ordering inspections and testing; ability to lead a crew with confidence in conjunction with the foreman and in his/her absence; high level of experience in form-setting for flatwork, buildings, retaining walls, batter boards, decks, tilt-up, curb, curb&gutter, drive approaches.

Additional duties are: knowledge of establishing grades and lines, both by laser equipment and conventional survey gear; requires experience in rebar and rebar layout; layout and installation of all types of foundation bolts and hardware; place and finish all types of concrete , including: shoveling/raking, tamping/vibrating, screeding/rodding, bullfloating/fresno troweling; all types of concrete finishing such as with power trowels (walk-behind/ride-on), hard trowel, sweat, broom, exposed aggregate and other decorative finishes; experience operating skiploader tractors, skidsteer loaders, gradealls, manlifts and compaction equipment; concrete pumping experience necessary as well.

  • Must be in good physical condition, able to kneel down on your     hands and knees for extended periods of time, lift 100lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
  • Must have nail bags, sledge hammer and all standard form-    setting tools
  • Must have concrete finishing tools including trowels, floats, hand     edgers, jointers and sliders
  • Must pass a drug screening
